This is a birthday present for :iconbean93:. It's 15X15 inches and I based the design my really cool laptop bag. It's made out of corduroy and some type of pink fabric I'm not sure what it's called.
The Weighted Companion Cube is so cool.

1. Get all your fabrics together. I used two different shades of gray corduroy and pink linen.
2. make a paper pattern. I made a large drawing out of a large piece of paper. Then cut out all your pattern pieces.
3. pin your pattern pieces to your respective fabrics and cut around them to get your fabric pieces.
4. then pin your accent pieces onto the main square that's your body piece and sew them all on. do so for the front and the back pieces.
5. sew the main body pieces together using the connector strip. and sew your zipper into the connector strip.
6. sew on D rings into either side of your bag so that you can attach the strap.
